RICHARDS ISD

RISD has been my school home for 3 years. 2022-23 is my first year as the primary Physical Education teacher for grades PK-6.   

Conroe ISD was my home for 30 years in the Phy Ed/Health field.  I am very proud to have taught and grown with such an outstanding district.  While teaching Phy Ed/Wellnes in CISD, I also had the honor of leading the District Physical Education Dept for grades K-6 for 10 years.  

After retiring and leaving CISD, I taught at The Woodlands Prepatory Academy, Andrew Rodman School and The Woodlands Methodist School.  

Moving to Richards (Bays Chapel) four years ago, where many weekends/holidays/summer vacations where spent growing up, has been a huge blessing.  I am very proud to be a part of this school and this community.  I love my job!

I attend Bays Chapel Church and Northside Baptist Church.  I love my church families!

My love for gardening began many years ago here in Richards, Tx.  Some of my favorite memories while growing up are of our family gardening at Bays Chapel (tilling, planting, harvesting, canning).  Gardening today brings the same pleasure that it did many years ago.  I just get tired quicker ;)

 Things I love to do…...Fishing, riding my bike, travel and of course being with my son James and his wife Jordan.
